Quintal No. 15 - AUG ‘22

Fruity and nutty–with these two words we say hello to Quintal No. 15.

Farmer Omar Arango is behind this spectacular honey-processed Pink Bourbon from Tolima, Colombia. Omar learned the coffee growing trade from his mother Irma. However, he did not stop there. Omar has a characteristically curious nature that has taken the flavors and aromas coming out of finca San Luis in La Maraca, Tolima to new heights.

With Quintal No. 15 we wanted to share the fruits of Omar’s researcher spirit. This Pink Bourbon variety was farmed at a height of 1850 m.a.s.l. and processed for 240 hours using the honey technique developed by Omar.

When first brewing this coffee, notice the raspberry and apricot notes that lift into the air. With the first sip, notice how these fruity notes combine with hazelnut to balance out the acidity to give hints of intense sweetness. Harvested in May 2022, Quintal No. 15 is about pushing the boundaries of knowledge, and freshness.
