Peach and Brown Sugar, Pure Zing and Delight in a Cup

As the year progresses and the seasons change, we turn to the southern hemisphere for fresh coffee. This month, we've selected a washed bourbon from the Amazon province of Peru. More specifically, it comes from Manuel Marlo’s Pacpa farm. The farm is named after a “magic” bird that according to legend, used to sing at Manuel’s farm.

Manuel is a young grower, only 28 years old. He took over the family farm and transitioned to specialty coffee as an alternative to the low prices offered for commodity coffee.

Manuel’s bourbon variety coffee embodies everything we love about Peruvian brews: vibrant cranberry and peach flavors with a creamy body that's reminiscent of chocolate.
